You will pass by the Middle Atlas region and make stops in its lovely and calm villages including Ifrane and cedar forests in Azrou.
The first night of your tour will be spent at a hotel near to the golden dunes in Merzouga, which is south of Fez. You’ll get an extra day to discover Merzouga’s mysteries, go on a nomad family visit, ride a camel, and spend the night with Bedouins in the center of the sand dunes.
Early in the morning our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Fez and take you to the southern region of Morocco.
You’ll stop in Ifrane, which is referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco, to take in its splendor and get some priceless images.
You will then proceed to Azrou to visit the monkeys in the cedar forest after that. going on to Midelt to a restaurant for lunch.
Continue through Tizi N Talghamt Pass to reach Errachidia while taking in the scenery of Ziz Gorges.
You’ll stop later for a panoramic vista of the Ziz valley. After going through Erfoud ( which is well-known for its fossils and dates), on the way to the Erg Chebbi Dunes, you might want to stop by a nearby workshop that makes fossil crafts.The fascinating Erg Chebbi dunes, also known as the Merzouga Dunes, are the next stop on your journey.
Check in at the hotel where you will stay the night. Having dinner and spending the night in a conventional hotel.
Today, after breakfast in the hotel, you’ll embark on a 4×4 trip of the dunes where you can see fossil-filled black volcanic rocks, interact with a nomadic family, and listen to the meditative Gnawa music of the Khamlia hamlet. Visit the Dayte Sarji lake, which emerges in the spring and attracts wildlife and pink flamingos.
You’ll then stop for lunch at Merzouga or Hassi Labied, your lunch will be the traditional berber pizza “Madfouna”.
After lunch, you’ll see the canal irrigation system and stroll through the oasis at the foot of the sand dunes.
Get ready for a two hour-long camel trek in the afternoon if you want to see the sun set.
You will go farther to the camp on the back of your dromedary where you will spend the night in a tent in the desert.
Dinner and an overnight stay in a bivouac amid the sand dunes with a performance of Saharan music are included.
Today get up early to view the most amazing sunrise of your life from the top of a dune near the camp. This experience is a must-do in the middle of the desert.
After breakfast, we will take the camels back to Merzouga and begin our journey to the north through the largest palm grove in the world, Tafilalet. Along the 20km route, you’ll observe a lot of palm trees.
This route takes us to the Ziz valley, where a river flows into a palm grove after flowing down from the high Atlas.
Here, we pause and take in the breathtaking view of the valley once more, and the village of Aoufous from this elevated vantage point. We stop again in Midelt, you’ll have some free time to have lunch and take a break.
We proceed into the Cedar forest in the afternoon, and if we’re lucky, we might spot some monkeys there. Our next stop is the city of Ifrane, which is 1630 meters above sea level and located on the Middle Atlas’ northwest slope.
This city resembles a Swiss town because of its wide avenues, immaculate urban development, gardens, green spaces, and architectural style.
In Morocco, in Ifrane , you can find Michlifen which is a significant ski resort.
When we reach Fez at 7 o’clock in the evening, the driver will drop you off at your lodging, marking the end of our services.
